ABOUT THE PROJECT
„European sustainable values in Environmental and Agricultural policy“
The new Jean Monet module „European sustainable values in Environmental and Agricultural policy“ includes the implementation of teaching and scientific activities related to the study of the current model of environmental and agricultural policy of the European Union. The module builds on the results of Jean Monnet's previous activities of the modules "Accession of Serbia to the EU" and "Application of EU values in the policies of the candidate countries" and "European sustainable values in the Common agricultural policy". During that period, specialist courses, educational events intended for students, researchers, experts, policy makers, non-governmental organizations and agricultural producers will be held, as well as the creation of new scientific research publications.
By studying the EU model of environmental protection and agriculture and its sustainable ecological, agricultural, economic, social and social value, the module will encourage the understanding of the future obligations of the Republic of Serbia arising from the opening of Chapter 27, which refers to the environment and climate change, as well as Chapter 11 which includes agriculture and rural development. The new module will aim to encourage excellence in teaching and research and to improve the quality of the teaching content of the existing range of undergraduate and master's programs of the University in the field of European Union studies. The project team consists of prof. Dr. Jelena Vapa Tankosić (project manager), prof. Dr. Vladimir Medović and Prof. Dr. Radivoj Prodanović.
